* Interest is not paid on balances below £500.
** Please note that while you can give instructions by telephone 24 hours a day, the transactions can only be processed during normal banking hours. Transactions between Business Banking Direct accounts will take effect the same day, while transactions with accounts at other banks will normally take up to two working days to complete. A same day transfer can be made for a small fee.
